CHANGE IN THE VACCINATION OF FOOT-AND-MOUTH
DISEASE (FDM)
The Servi reports that there were changes in the timing of the vaccination campaign against FMD.
The move was determined by the “Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento” - Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply - (map) in order to unify the timing of vaccination in the.
With this, the first stage of the campaign, which is dedicated to the flock with up to 24 months of age, will be realized in May. The second phase, which covers all cattle and buffalo, regardless of age, will be in November.
